Pictures & Components

1. Whole set crane

(1) It is composed of beam frame, driving device and trolley with lifting and moving device. The trolley moves the rail over the main beam.

(2) Install a moving table on the outside of the two main beams. One side is ready for the installation and maintenance of the moving device, and the other side is ready for the installation of the sliding contact line.

(3) The spacious cab is suspended under the main beam. The cab is equipped with a joint console or a single control box, and a side ladder is arranged between the cab and the mobile platform.

(4) The main beam is connected with the end car on both sides, and the connection point is in the middle.

2. Main girder

(1) It is composed of beam frame, driving device and trolley with lifting and moving device. The trolley moves the rail over the main beam.

(2) The main beam of a double-beam bridge crane is a horizontal beam that spans the width of the crane and supports the lifting mechanism. The girders are usually made of steel and can be box or truss, depending on the load capacity and application of the crane.

(3) The main beam of a double beam bridge crane is designed to bear the weight of the load plus the weight of the lifting mechanism and all other parts of the crane. It is supported at each end by elevated runway beams or columns, and can be raised and lowered along these supports to locate loads as needed.

(4) The main beam is a box structure on the track. The section of the main beam is analyzed and calculated by ANSYS finite element method to ensure that it has sufficient strength, stiffness and overall stability. The camber of the main beam is (1 ~ 1.4) S/1000, and the maximum camber position is controlled within 1/10 of the span. The main stressed members of the main beam are Q255B or Q355B, C, D, E, and the minimum plate thickness is greater than 6mm.

3. Lifting System

The lifting mechanism of a double girder overhead crane typically consists of a hoist, trolley, and bridge. The hoist is the component that actually lifts and lowers the load, while the trolley moves the hoist along the bridge to position the load in the desired location. The bridge is the supporting structure that spans the distance between the two runways and supports the trolley and hoist.

The hoist is typically powered by an electric motor and consists of a drum, rope or chain, and hook. The rope or chain is attached to the load and wrapped around the drum of the hoist. When the motor is activated, it rotates the drum, causing the rope or chain to wind or unwind and lift or lower the load.

The trolley is mounted on the bridge and is typically powered by a separate electric motor. The trolley moves along the length of the bridge on rails, positioning the hoist and load in the desired location. The trolley can be operated manually or with a wireless remote control.

The bridge is the supporting structure that spans the distance between the two runways. It is typically made of steel and consists of two parallel girders with cross-members that support the trolley and hoist. The bridge is supported by vertical columns or posts that are anchored to the ground or building structure.

Overall, the lifting mechanism of a double girder overhead crane is designed to provide efficient and effective lifting and positioning of heavy loads in manufacturing, construction, and other industrial settings.

4. End Carriages

1) Double Girder Overhead Crane End Carriages are the structural components of the overhead crane that support the two crane girders or beams. The end carriages are attached to the girders or beams on either side of the crane and are responsible for carrying the load of the crane. They also provide lateral stability to the crane.

2) The end carriages of a double girder overhead crane are typically made of steel and consist of a beam, wheels, and a motor. The beam is the main load-bearing component and is designed to carry the weight of the crane girders as well as the load being lifted. The wheels are attached to the bottom of the end carriage and run along a rail system. The motor is used to drive the wheels and move the crane along the rails.

3) The end carriages are also equipped with safety features such as limit switches, which prevent the crane from travelling beyond the safe working area. They also have bumpers at each end to absorb impact and prevent damage to the crane or surrounding equipment.

4) Overall, the double girder overhead crane end carriages play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of the crane. They are designed to withstand heavy loads and rough working conditions, making them an essential component of the crane system.

5. Crane traveling mechanism

1) The crane traveling mechanism of a double girder overhead crane typically consists of two parallel girders that run the length of the crane's span. The girders are attached to end trucks at either end of the span, which contain the wheels and gearing that allow the crane to travel along the runway.

2) The traveling mechanism is typically powered by an electric motor, which drives the crane along the runway via a system of gears, wheels and axles. The motor is controlled by an operator using a pendant control, which allows the crane to be moved forwards, backwards, left and right.

3) The speed of the crane can be adjusted depending on the weight of the load being lifted, with faster speeds being used for lighter loads and slower speeds for heavier loads. The traveling mechanism also includes safety features such as automatic brakes to prevent the crane from running away, and limit switches to prevent overtravel at either end of the runway.

6. Trolley traversing mechanism

1) The double girder overhead crane trolley traversing mechanism is a component that is responsible for allowing the trolley to move back and forth along the length of the crane's double girder. The trolley is the part of the crane that holds the hoist or lifting mechanism, and allows it to move horizontally along the span of the crane.

2) The traversing mechanism typically consists of a motor, a reducer gearbox, and a set of wheels or rollers that are mounted on the trolley. The motor powers the gearbox, which in turn drives the wheels or rollers, allowing the trolley to move along the rails that are attached to the top of the crane's double girder.

3) The traversing mechanism is an important component of the double girder overhead crane. It allows the crane operator to position the trolley and hoist over a specific point on the work surface, which is crucial for accurate and efficient lifting operations. The speed and control of the trolley traversing mechanism can also be adjusted according to the needs of the task at hand, making it a versatile and valuable feature of the crane.

7. Crane wheel

The high quality wheel set is made of 45# steel die forging, roughing, conditioning and finishing. The hardness of heat treatment is HB305 ~ 385, and the hardness of hardening layer at 18mm depth is not less than HB250. The wheel shaft is made of 45# steel, which is roughed, tempered and finished. The hardness of heat treatment is 250 ~ 280HB.

8. Crane hook

A crane hook is a device used in lifting operations that attaches to the load being lifted. It is a metal hook that is designed to withstand the weight of the load being lifted, and it is attached to the crane by means of a chain, rope, or cable. The size and strength of the crane hook depend on the type of crane, the weight of the load, and the height of the lift. Crane hooks are made of high-quality steel and can be either single or double hooks. They come in various sizes, shapes, and configurations to accommodate different types of loads and lifting applications.

9. Motor

A double girder overhead crane motor is a type of motor that is used to power the lifting and movement of a double girder overhead crane. This type of motor typically consists of an electric motor, a gearbox, and a brake system, all of which work together to provide the necessary power and control for the crane.

The motor is usually mounted on the bridge of the crane and is connected to the gearbox, which helps to control the speed and torque of the motor. The brake system is used to ensure that the crane can be stopped quickly and safely in the event of an emergency.

Double girder overhead crane motors are typically designed to be durable and reliable, with a high level of power and torque output. They are also designed to be energy-efficient, helping to reduce the overall operating costs of the crane.

Overall, the double girder overhead crane motor plays a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of the crane, providing the power and control needed to lift and move heavy loads with ease..

10. Sound and light alarm system and limit switch

Every crane will be equipped a sound and light alarm system and so that it is an effective way to keep people safe in emergency situations. It is important to ensure that the system is regularly tested and maintained to ensure that it is in good working order.

The limit switch can be widely used in three - dimensional control and travel limitation of hoisting machinery, and it can protect the crane.
